I doubt I'll ever get Sam on board with an ostrich or zebra wallpaper (nor could I ever in a gazillion years afford Scalamandre anything), but I think they're fun in small doses. As I've said before, pillows give you a big bang for your buck and you can easily swap them out, so I think that's a really practical way to incorporate these wild and crazy prints into everyday (and husband approved) decor. I've been eyeing the hot pink Lily Pulitzer for awhile, so I just might have to find a place for it. Doesn't every room need a little dragon?! I could definitely incorporate the Schumacher into every single room of this house. It's just so beautiful and vibrant and looks good in every application I've ever seen.
What do you think? Love? Hate? Repulsed? Let's hear it!
I love it all!! I think it's daring but oh so classic! I'm going to definitely buy more pillows in fun prints to spruce things up at my house - can't wait to shop!!
ReplyDeleteYes! My favorite pastime is cruising Etsy for awesome pillows :)
ReplyDeleteI need to work on getting more vibrant prints in my decor. My house is boring compared to these. What is a good vibrant color to go with teal? :/. Steph B.
ReplyDeleteHot pink or a chartreuse are my favs :) and my house is boring compared to these too, but I think starting with bare walls and neutral furniture allows the art and pillows to stand out and be the "stars." Plus then it's super easy to swap out and change the whole look when you inevitably get tired of it :)
Deletep.s. are you so excited about the Young House Love line at Target?!
ReplyDeleteMy sister in law and I were JUST texting about that! She has a chihuahua and wants the dog hook :) I can't wait to check it out!!
DeleteSo many to choose from! How to you decide on just one?? :)
ReplyDeleteI know!! I don't think I can, so I will be the crazy lady with animal prints all over my home :)
